Interalia's Alarm Dialer continuously monitors assets at remote or unmanned sites. When a problem is detected it dials a list of preprogrammed telephone numbers until it is able to alert authorized personnel of the situation.
The Alarm Dialer can monitor up to 8 different alarm conditions at the same time.
The Alarm Dialer can use a land line telephone to notify Staff when a problem occurs. However, if there is direect phone to the remote site it can also utilize a cellular phone*, pager, satellite signal or two-way radio to alert personnel.
The Alarm Dialer continues to dial up to 24 pre-programmed phone numbers until it is able to reach someone. If it is unable to reach someone after trying all 24 numbers it begins dialing the list again.
In emergency situations you may not have the time to record a clearly understood message, so the Alarm Dialer allows companies to pre-record up to 10 messages in advance. This way when equipment fails the message Staff hear clearly tells them the site that is having the problem and the piece of equipment that is failing.
Staff can check the status of the alarm or acknowledge the alarm condition via the front-panel of the Alarm Dialer or remotely via a touch-tone telephone.
The Alarm Dialer has three auxiliary control outputs to allow Staff to interrogate, re-program or turn failing equipment on/off via either on-site at the front panel or remotely via a touch-tone telephone.
The Alarm Dialer tells Staff when a piece of equipment is failing so they can send repair Staff on-site with the appropriate part and fix the unit before it fails or causes damage to other systems.
Note: The Alarm Dialer is not available in the European Economic Community.
Note: An interface kit is required to use a cellular phone.
