The California Highway Patrol (CHP) has installed 10 XMU+ systems to screen out mis-dialed 9-1-1 calls made from some of the 8 million wireless emergency phones calls they receive each year within the State of California. The XMU+ has helped reduce this huge call volume by 19% (or about 1.5 million calls) enabling existing operators to process real emergency calls faster. E8.5

For over 15 years Environment Canada (Canada) has been using Interalia products to broadcast weather forecasts and warnings to over 5 million Canadians annually. People can receive interactive forecasts via a telephone connection or tune into a radio channel for broadcasted messages. E8.5 EA4
