Ease of Use

“Easy To Use” is easy to say, but the proof is in the end user experience.

Technology is suppose to enhance our lives but all too often it complicates our tasks and becomes a near constant source of frustration. In Telecom is is far too common that the simplest change of any system requires IT support and often times that support comes in the form of expensive 3rd party resources.

At interalia we design our products to do their job well, and we understand very well what that job is: our products deliver messages.

Messages are often thoughts developed in realtime, responding to opportunity or events, resolving problems or identifying solutions. As such it is critical that the creation and deployment of those messages be allowed to happen in realtime and ideally by the individual whose thoughts it is that are being recorded.

As a core value of Interalia's easeof use has a realtime measurement for our design teams. If a non technical resource cannot learn how to configure and use our equipment within 15 minutes are engineers must get back to the lab and find a way to simplify the user interface. Our admininstration staff are the final arbiters in our gate process. If they cant use the product it doesnt pass.

By providing mainstream-oriented user interfaces, and separate user interfaces for routine use versus system configuration routines, interalia has found what we believe is the perfect balance between performance and use. We receive and seek significant and consistent feedback from our user community applauding our efforts over the years and correcting us when we stray.
