Overhead Paging

Communicate to a many people at the same time.

Who needs a paging system?

Paging systems are used in most buildings and public places to broadcast messages to a large number of people at the same time. Typical applications include: airports, train stations, retail stores, large offices or company plants and facilities. Sometimes a paging system is used to play promotional or marketing messages, or to make announcements to shoppers or travelers. However it can also be used to make public service, emergency or evacuation messages should a crisis arise.

Quickly communicate to lots of people at the same time!

A paging system is a great way to communicate with a large number of people at the same time. Most paging systems have a few drawbacks. Usually only one person can make a live page at a particular time so everyone else has to wait until the page is finished before trying to make their page. Secondly, when more than one person tries to page at the same time you can often get feedback between microphones which makes it difficult to understand the page. Thirdly, many paging systems can’t play music or pre-recorded messages. However, Interalia’s cost-effective paging systems don’t have any of these drawbacks and they can do so much more including:

1. Make pre-record paging announcements.

Pre-record an announcement such as store hours, security alerts or marketing messages then have the paging system play the announcement at the exact date and time you want.

2. Play background music and messages.

Play pre-recorded or live background music and messages over the paging system to entertain shoppers and inform them about upcoming marketing campaigns.

3. Sequence live pages.

Now you can eliminate the frustrating delays typically experienced when using a paging system. Multiple staff members can simultaneously record their page, verify it and then re-record it if necessary before sending it to the paging system. The paging system will then play the pages out in the order it receives them.

4. Eliminate paging feedback.

Since pages are pre-recorded and then played out in sequence from a queue you won’t get the feedback noise most paging systems experience when more than one person tries to record a message at the same time.

5. Broadcast evacuation or emergency messages.

Our paging systems are often used to broadcast evacuation or emergency messages at shopping malls, airports, bus and train stations or large plant facilities.
