iProMOH Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Question

I just installed my iProMOH and I’m not able to see the iProMOH workgroup under “Microsoft Windows Network”.

    Answer:
Depending on network infrastructure it could take 5 minutes for the iProMOH workgroup to be visible. If you still can not see the workgroup after 5 minutes try doing any of the following:
  • ♦ If you are using “Windows Firewall” make sure that “File and Print sharing” is activated under the “Exceptions” tab.
  • ♦ In the “Microsoft Windows Network” page refresh your network settings by pressing the F5 key.
  • ♦ Open an explorer window and enter: \\“iProMOH MAC address” into the address bar and then press enter, the configuration icon should now be displayed. The “iProMOH MAC address” can be found on the label of the device. Only the letters & numbers should be entered. For example, if the label reads "MAC: 00-07-07-00-10-88" enter \\000707001088.
  • ♦ Reboot your PC to refresh network settings.

  • ♦ Data bits: 8
