Solutions - Industry - Transportation

Industry Solutions

for the Transportation Sector

The Transportation sector uses many Interalia products to provide better passenger service at airports, train, bus and ferry terminals. Typical applications include: auto attendant, ACD messaging, general announcements, equipment monitoring, call queuing, reservations, music/message-on-hold, remote asset monitoring and air traffic information systems (ATIS).

Passenger Announcements:

Interalia products are used to deliver passenger announcements at train, subway, bus, air and ferry teminals or bus stops. Our systems may provide audio and visual messages or overhead pages.

Call Queuing:

Some transportation companies use Interalia products to queue callers waiting to speak to an attendant. Our solutions act as temporary attendants, intercepting the call then playing an informational message before transfering the call to an agent.

Reservations:

Transportation clients use Interalia solutions in their reservations departments to prompt users for information (“Please have your credit card ready”), or to tell them to expect a delay (“All agents are busy, please hold”).

Music/Message-On-Hold:

Interalia products provide callers to transportation companies with music and messages to entertain and inform callers while they wait on-hold for an agent.

Equipment Monitoring:

In cold climates, remote trains or buses may be left running 24-hours a day. In these situations Interalia products are used to ensure the battery and coolant levels in these trains do not fail. They may also act as a security system, ensuring unauthorized people do not access the vehicle.

Automatic Terminal Information Systems (ATIS):

Interalia has ATIS systems to provide runway and navigational information at manned or unmanned airports.
