Interalia's Customer Information System Digital Voice Announcer (cisDVA) is a semi-automatic, free-standing announcement system used by train platforms and stations in the United Kingdom.
The cisDVA contains the complete United Kingdom National Rail Schedule that is updated bi-annually on optical media and a database of approximately 10,000 Network Rail message fragments. The system is based on the proven Interalia linux-based Trouncer platform.
Using an XML based protocol, the cisDVA extracts a fresh copy of the National Rail Schedule from the database each day and then automatically organizes the appropriate message fragments to create announcements that match the schedule.
Note: The cisDVA is only available in the United Kingdom.
